7 Things I have learned recently…
1. Ignorance doesn’t leave human beings with age. Seriously, isn’t part of being ignorant being too ignorant to acknowledge that you’re being ignorant?
2. I’m not a very good musician. I’ve seen some great musicians just in the local area that make me feel like… man. I need to put more time into practice. It’s my own fault for not putting more time into playing.
3. Jay-Z Reasonable Doubt album is the greatest hip/hop album of all-time. It’s really the only album I listen to when I’m out driving. I wouldn’t even consider myself a Jay-Z fan but his debut is fantastic. If you haven’t heard the album definitely check it out.
4. I need a more consistent job. I really want to work for Two Men in a Truck… I’ll leave that thought there.
5. I don’t take a lot of risk. I have a very safe life. It’s a bittersweet thing. Maybe there is such thing as being too content…
6. I can now play Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam on guitar.
7. My parents are amazing. I really want to tell them that in a non-sarcastic manner but that would be extremely awkward for my parents. Maybe I’ll just wait until Father’s/Mother’s day. At least then the awkwardness can be justified.
